Expenditure made for General Election-2014, exposed through RTI

RTI Application was submitted to the PIO, Dept. of Home ( Election ), Govt. of Odisha seeking information  about expenditure made under different heads for General Elections-2014. The information provided by the PIO on dated 29.9.14 is as follows.

  1. For conduct of simultaneous General Election-2014, provisions of fund of Rs. 98,02,16,000/- and Rs. 18,47,11,000/-  have been made  in the budget of State Govt. for the year 2013-14 and 2014-15 under election head.
  2. For the purpose of expenditure  under different items in connection with  simultaneous general election-2014 , the following allotment of funds have been made out of budget provisions to different quarters.
