Lookout Notice against Ram Rahim’s daughter Honeypreet Insan

Haryana police on Friday issued a ‘lookout notice’ for Honeypreet Insan, adopted daughter of Ram Rahim Singh, for instigating violence and conspiracy in attempting to free Dera chief after his rape conviction last week. Police have also alerted all airports and exit points to lookout for her.

The police is investigating as to how did Honeypreet manage to board the chopper that took Dera Chief to Rohtak Jail. Panchkula’s Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Manbir Singh confirmed the news of lookout notice.

This new development comes amid the high speculation doing the round in media that Honeypreet can be the next DSS chief, being Ram Rahim’s closest aide.

The sentence against rape convict Ram Rahim Singh was declared by a special CBI court. He has been sentenced to 20 years in prison as he was announced guilty of raping two women in a 2002 case. The jail term for the two cases is concurrent, making it an effective term of twenty years.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had registered the rape case in April 2002 against the self-styled godman after allegations of sexual exploitation of two women followers. A Dera Sadhvi had written an anonymous letter to the then prime minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, that she was being raped by Ram Rahim.
